Three Teenage Students arrested for Stealing School Bells and Gadgets in Ekiti

Three Teenage students of Federal Science and Technical College, Usi-Ekiti, a co-educational secondary institution in Ekiti, have been arrested by the Ekiti State Police Command and local security guards for alleged burglary and theft.

The suspects, identified as Adelabu Okiki, Ogunsulade Vincent and Ogunleye Ayomibe, all aged between 14 and 15 years, reportedly broke into the school’s tuck shop, ICT and administrative blocks and stole various items.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, Sunday Abutu, the items recovered from the suspects include laptops, a solar generator, three handsets, a 4G Airtel wifi, two office bells and a rechargeable clipper.

Mr Abutu said the suspects confessed to the crime and admitted that they have been involved in several burglaries in the school in recent times. He added that they would be charged to court accordingly.
