VOICE AIR MEDIA News Update

As part of efforts to bequeath to our country, a standard & digital postcode system that aids the development of Nigeria, the NPC, in collaboration with the NIPOST, is training functionaries for the ground-truthing of Postcode Area Delineation Model at the NASRDA’s Office, Abuja.

“A postcode system assigns a unique alphanumeric code to every dwelling entity in the country, taking into consideration its unique use (residential, commercial, medicare or educational) and geographical location.”

This training session will train Supervisors, Enumerators, and GIS officers who will be on the field for 7 days to validate the Model in Bwari Area Council of the FCT, Abuja. This is a micro-test, after which the whole country will be delineated into Postcode Areas.
