Gbedaba Rufus Emerges New President of KACSU, Applauds Supporters, Students

University of Abuja Student, Comrade Gbedaba Rufus has emerged as the new President of Kuje Area Council Students Union (KACSU) in the General election 2023 academic session.

Comrade Rufus wins KACSU President defeating his opponent Comrade Hussaini Rabiu Solomon of Ibrahim Babangida Badamasi University.

Comrade Rufus poll 43 votes while Comrade Solomon Rabiu polled 23 votes.

Other elected excos are; Vice President: Umar Suleiman.
Secretary: Maikasuwa Salihu.
Asst. Sec. General: Ummamatu Aliyu.
Financial Sec.: Musa Buhari.
PRO 1: Suleiman Jemilu Dikko, among others.

While addressing the students shortly after the election exercise, Comrade Rufus appreciate God Almighty for the victory at the poll and applaud his supporters and the entire Student’s keying into his vision of making the union more progressive.

He also commands the congress for ensuring a free, fair and credible election and urge the Student’s of Kuje Area Council to expect more from his administration especially the area’s of Student’s academic Excellent and Student’s welfarism.
