Sir,
NOTICE OF JOINT ACTION
Accept our solidarity greetings blended in patriotism.
We wish to register our discomfort occassioned by the incessant kidnapping cases recorded in Federal Capital Territory, Abuja in recent time.
It is pivotal we state it clear that it has never being this bad, although there are challenges in the past but the recent happening is worrisome and totally disdaining.
Within the last few weeks, 49 able persons has been kidnapped while majority of this people fall victims under their roof within the FCT.
The last one recorded was at Kwali, where 29 persons within the community were called out of their houses and whisked away by kidnappers to an unknown place.
Therefore, we call for your urgent intervention because this malady can no longer be tolerated within the FCT. Knowing fully well that the first responsibility of the government is to secure the lives and properties of citizens as provided under the 1999 Nigeria Constitution as amended.
Nigerian students schooling in FCT are worried and feel displeased because of this unfortunate happening, perhaps this continue it would lead to the disruption of academic calendar in FCT.
We hereby give 48 hours ultimatum for thorough redress of security architecture within the FCT or you see the massive action of Nigerian Students schooling within FCT as we occupy the strategic places to make our plight known to the Nigerians and the world at large.
NANS FCT anticipate your swift and positive response, do accept the best regards of teeming Nigerian students at large.
