Owerri: APGA condemns attack on officials

The All Progressives Grand Alliance has condemned the attack on its delegates and officials in the Imo State Governorship primary held last weekend,

 

 

 

The attack on the party officials was said to have happened at the state party secretariat in Owerri.

 

 

 

The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Tex Okechukwu, disclosed this in a statement on Monday.

 

 

 

Okechukwu, who felt dissatisfied about the attack noted that the political space in the state is gradually being turned into a battlefield by some unscrupulous and mischievous politicians.

“We wish to state clearly that the attacks on our members by somebody who did not even qualify or was granted a waiver to participate in the said governorship primary were totally unwarranted and unacceptable.
