APC guber primary: 5 Kogi Party Chieftains dismiss outcome, as Smart urges Tinubu to reject result

THE outcome of the governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kogi State, has been rejected by some aspirants.

APC in Kogi State held its primary election, which produced Ahmed Usman Ododo as its governorship candidate.

Aspirants who rejected the result of the primary election include Senator Smart Adeyemi, ex-Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, Professor Stephen Ocheni, son of late ex-Governor Abubakar Audu, Shuaibu, and Murtala Yakubu Ajaka.

Addressing a press conference on behalf of the others, Adeyemi disclosed that there was no election, hence, Ododo’s emergence can’t be accepted.

Adeyemi urged the President-elect, Bola Tinubu and APC leadership to reject the result of the so-called primary election.
