Ekiti Police Nab 17 Suspects For Kidnapping, Robbery, Cultism

Ekiti State Police Command has paraded 17 suspects on various crimes ranging from Kidnapping, Robbery and Cultism.

Parading the suspects on behalf of the Commissioner of Police in Ado Ekiti today, the Public Relations Officer DSP Sunday Abutu said that the suspects were nabbed after a serious bush combing by the Rapid Response Squad of the Command.

Abutu said that the suspected Kidnappers, Williams Ukeuima, Adeniyi Olamilekan, Augustine Agboobo and Ademola Gabriel were arrested inside a close forest to Igede Farm settlement where they carry out their evil acts.

Also another set of Kidnappers, Abubakar Bello, Usman Bature, Sunday Olawoye and Igbekele Afọlábí were arrested at various locations in Ekiti where they carry out their kidnapping businesses.

DSP Abutu also briefed that in a bid to curb incessant attack between a two cult group in the state “Black Axe Aiye and Ẹiyẹ Confraternity” the command has nabbed some suspected cultists involved in various attacks and killings in the past few days.

Items recovered from the suspects arrested were locally made pistol, charms and different hard drugs.
