National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS has kicked against the increment in the tuition fee of Ekiti state university, EKSU.
Recall that on Tuesday, the body condemned the action by the school management.

RE: NANS CONDEMNS IN ENTIRETY, THE UNJUSTIFIABLE INCREMENTS IN THE TUITION FEE OF EKITI STATE UNIVERSITY (EKSU)
Solidarity greetings to you all.
In respect to the NANS stand on unjustifiable increment of tuition fee of the Ekiti State University, the National Association of Nigerian Students as a responsible and responsive Association, has taken several measures which is not limited to the engagement with the management of the Institution in a meeting which held yesterday at EKSU where memorandum of understanding was reached with the management.
Today, 1st of April, 2023. The office of director of Travels and Exchange in person of Comr. Salawudeen Kamorudeen Alade “LEGACY” accompanied by the National Vice President (External Affairs), Comr. Akinteye Babatunde, the NANS/Ekiti JCC Axis, Students Union Leadership of Ekiti State University and Stakeholders met with the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, H.E Governor Abiodun Oyebanji and other concerned state officials to further discuss the increment in the tuition fee of Students of Ekiti State University.
The NANS leadership stressed that the increment will not only cause more hardship to the students but as well leads to increase in the rate of drop out.
The Governor while speaking, he assured that as a matter of urgency a meeting with the governing council of the Institution will be convened to review the tution fee.
He further stated that, he will keep supporting the Students constituency in the State and beyond as he will continue to pursue the welfare of the Nigerian Students. Also he has promised to give a Sienna Bus to ease their mobility.
On this note, we want to assure our members that, all hands will continue to be on deck till we attain victory in this struggle.
