THE candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Princess Tosin Ogunlowo-Ajirotutu has emerged winner of Idanre state constituency of Ondo State House of Assembly member-elect.
Declaring the results, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Returning Officer for Idanre local government said: Princess Tosin Ogunlowo-Ajirotutu of APC having polled 10,532 votes to defeat her main challenger, Oyewole Aderemi of the PDP who scored 10,142 votes.

The keenly contested election saw both candidates share the 10 political wards in Idanre local government equally but the winning margin of APC’s Ogunlowo-Ajirotutu saw her emerge as the first female representative from the Constituency to represent at the House of Assembly.
