Drama as Oyo PDP members reportedly drum support for APC gov candidate

About 190,000 supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State declared their support for the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Teslim Folarin, on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

 

 

 

According to report, the supporters under their platform called PDP Vanguard made this known in a statement on their official Twitter account @pdpvanguard, on Wednesday.

 

 

 

The statement read: “It is essential that every eligible voter in Oyo State exercises their right to vote.

 

 

 

“The importance of this cannot be overstated, as every single vote counts and can make a significant difference in the outcome of the election.

 

 

 

“Folarin is the answer!”

 

 

 

Meanwhile, a statement by Folarin’s media aide, Yekeen Olaniyi, on Thursday, welcomed the development, calling on other opposition parties to take a cue from the PDP Vanguard by joining him to rescue the state from Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration.

 

 

 

He said, “Oyo State security system has shamefully degraded from a mountaintop of excellence during the days of “Operation Burst” to a despicable gutter of security deterioration such that the state residents now live in palpable fear and tension.” CONTINUE READING…………………………………
