Osun PDP hails Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi on his Scholarship programme for students

•urge Ajibola Bashiru to imbibe tenets of public service from him as against the promotion of political thuggery he’s known for.

The Osun People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has applauded his senatorial candidate in Osun Central, Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi for the impressive scholarship awards he dole out recently to different categories of students in Osun Central senatorial district.

In a commendation statement by the chairman of the party in the state, Dr Akindele Adekunle said the gesture serves as one of the major agenda of the party in the state in revamping the education sector, provide support for struggling students and taking care of the welfarism of the teachers in the public service of the state.

The party in the statement by the chairman said, the gesture by Olubiyi Fadeyi is in contrast to what Apc and their political functionaries are known for in the state as the educational sector in the state was nothing to write home about until the PDP administration came onboard Dr Akindele however urge the Apc senatorial candidate in Osun central, Ajibola Bashiru to imbibe the character and good tenets of public service as displayed by Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi as against the act of thuggery and promotion of violence Ajibola Bashiru is known for.

“Recently, we issued a strong warning to Senator Ajibola Bashiru, the All Progressive Congress (APC) Senatorial candidate for Osun Central Senatorial district and his thuggish supporters to bring to an immediate halt, the current wave of violence and attacks against innocent citizens who have decided not to support his elusive re-election bid owing largely to his underwhelming outing in his rather forgotten first term tenure as a Senator representing Osun Central senatorial district.

” This call became necessary after the series of attack by the underperforming senator on the lives of many people in the state and especially, the innocent citizens of ward 14, Oke baale community in Osogbo LG of Osun State on 17th February, 2023 which leaves so many casualties with varying degrees of injuries and gunshot wounds”

“Instead of employing this failed attempts to revive his nosediving political career and political ambition, we urged the arrogant Senator to take a cue and learn from the humanitarian gesture the PDP Senatorial Candidate in Osun Central has just done and gives justice to humongous allocated public wealth he has in his stock for the past four years rather than engaging in thuggery and violence as a last straw of his political survival”

“Notwithstanding the level of political violence he indulge in, we’re confident that our candidate Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi will triumph in the poll coming up in the next 7days as the people of Osun Central are resolute in their resolve to send the best public servant, in order to get the best public service they desire and hope for”
