In Osun, As members laud Oyetola’s political sagacity…
Barely seven days to the general elections, the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Osun has collapsed its structure and endorsed the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.
This is just as the APM members in the State lauded the State Coordinator, Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Council, Adegboyega Oyetola for his resilience, political sagacity and avowed commitment towards the growth and development of Osun.
Speaking on behalf of the leadership and members of the State Chapter of the party, the APM Chairman, Mr Adebayo Simeon Adewale, said his members were convinced on the quality, capacity and competence of the APC Presidential flag-bearer to lead Nigeria to an enviable height.
Adewale who described Tinubu’s manifestos as a genuine and realistic blueprint of a ‘renewed hope’ for Nigeria and Nigerians, said the contents therein had given a clear direction to redefine the country for the betterment of all and sundry.
He lauded the immense contributions of Tinubu to national growth and development over the years, saying his emergence as the APC flag-bearer was indeed a clear testament that the party had made a right choice for Nigeria in whom the future lies.
The State APM Chairman attributed their collective decision to vote massively for the APC Presidential Candidate as part of efforts to ensure that the best candidate is elected to govern the country.
“We are convinced by his manifesto. It shows that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu really means well for Nigeria and Nigerians. No one can doubt his competence, capability and capacity to govern the country particularly at this critical time that our nation required an informed, educated and highly intellectual political leader who understands where the shoe is pinching the citizens.
“We are giving our words today that we will vote massively for Tinubu and ensure his emergence. We have strong belief in his manifesto which was painstakingly designed to rekindle our hope and build a new Nigeria of our dream”, he added.
In his remarks, Oyetola appreciated leaders and members of the Osun APM for taking a right decision to endorse Tinubu who he described as best of the bests.
According to Oyetola, Tinubu has done excellently well and had shown clearly that in his determination and avowed commitment to build a country that we will all be proud of.
“As a man of integrity, Tinubu’s imprints across sectors of the economy had spoken for him all over the country as manifested in the massive support he had garnered and still enjoying across the country,” he said.
Oyetola promised to relay message of the Osun APM to Tinubu just as he implored them not to limit the exercise to endorsement alone but rather take the gospel of Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign to the nooks and crannies of the State
“We are happy that you have made a right choice. This is impressive and is a welcome development. I promise you that your message will be appropriately conveyed to our presidential flag-bearer Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in due course.
“All I want from you is to take the gospel across and beyond the state. Please do not limit this exercise to what happens here today. Let’s begin to mobilize our people to vote massively for Tinubu and Shettima in whom our collective hope lies and in whom our quest to build a virile and healthy nation can be achieved”, Oyetola added.
