Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has suspended activities on the newly established University of Ilesha till further notice.

The university was established during the end of first term tenure of former governor Adegboyega Oyetola in 2022.

Recall Adeleke inaugurated a review committee on the establishment of the university, which he tasked to put up recommendations.

“Consequently, all activities of the Council and other organs of the new university are to be put on hold pending further directives by the state government.

“While the state government appreciates the Governing Council of the university, please accept the assurances of my warmest regards and best wishes.”
