President Muhammadu Buhari has commissioned the Dala Inland Dry Port, in the Dala Local Government Area of Kano State.
He arrived at exactly 10:32 a.m., accompanied by some of his cabinet members.
The President was received by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, the Minister of Transportation, Mr Jaaji Sambo, and the Managing Director of the Dala inland Dryport, Ahmad Rabiu.
Other dignitaries at the event included the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC), Mr Emmanuel Jime; Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transportation, Magdalene Ajani and the former Executive Secretary, of NSC, Mr Hassan Bello.
While in Kano, Buhari would commission the 10 megawatts of federally financed Kano Grid Solar Power and the Kano State Data Centre at Audu Bako Secretariat, Tier Data Centre and office complex at Galaxy Backbone Limited Project at Ahmadu Bello Way.
Other projects are the Cancer Treatment Centre at Muhammadu Buhari Specialist Hospital, Giginyu; the Muhammadu Buhari Road Rotary Interchange at NNPC Station, along Maiduguri Road; the Aliko Dangote Ultra-Modern Skill Acquisition Centre, Zaria Road and a Federal Government Housing Unit at Gandun Sarki, Darmanawa.
