Bandits release retired colonel, children after N10m ransom payment

A retired armed colonel, Rabiu Yandoto, who was abducted along with his children, has been released together with the kids after the payment of a ransom of N10m.

Yandoto confirmed that the bandits were paid N10m.

He said, “They collected N10m and brought me together with my children near Faskari town in Katsina State and told us to find our way home.

“As I am speaking to you, we were released barely one hour ago and I thank God that I was not killed while in their camp.”

Recall that Yandoto and his two children were abducted along Gusau-Tsafe Road when he was returning to his village.
