Emir, Alowonle are after my life – Osun NURTW Boss, Asiri Eniba’s mother writes police

VOICE AIR MEDIA

OSUN: Alhaja Oyewale, mother of popular transport union leader in the State, Kazeem Oyewale popularly known as Asiri Eniba, has called on the Commissioner of Police to protect her against Lekan Ajagungbade also known as Emir and Nurudeen Alowonle who are threatening to kidnap, torture and kill her.

In a petition seen by VOICE AIR MEDIA on Friday, Mrs Oyewale said her son, Sheriff Oyewale has not been seen since he was taken away by the duo of Emir and Alowonle at Ayetoro area of Osogbo on November 28.

In the said petition written by her lawyer, Tunbosun Oladipupo, the octogenarian stated, the culprits went on rampage by attacking Sheriff Oyewale and inflicted injuries on his body and forehead.

“The culprits also took him away to an unknown destination and up till now my client is unable to see his son. The unfortunate incident occurred around Ayetoro, Osogbo where a car was also set ablaze by the culprits.

“My client’s son has not been seen whether he had been killed by the culprits and their cohorts as the culprits are making frantic efforts too to eliminate the elder brother.

“As if that is not enough, the culprits are still threatening to kill my client and his son for daring to expose them and their nefarious activities in the town and they also boasted that the Police are their friends in the Area and that they would finish them.

“My client and his sons are seeking the help and security for themselves from these culprits not to harm them as they have vowed to attack them whenever the opportunity presents itself.

“From the foregoing, it is apparent that the said culprits have the capacity to carry out the threats unless some steps are taken to checkmate them permanently. It is on this note that we urge you sir to use your good office to bring them to justice.”

This Newspaper gathered from the police that the dual, Emir and Alowonle has been invited for questioning but they were yet to honour the invitation as at press time.
