Osun state Governor, Ademola Adeleke has called on the public to ignored the fraudulent announcement of launching a N10,000 swearing – in grant for Nigerians.
In a press statement released by his Spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed on Thursday, Gov. Adeleke said he’s not running any N10,000 Swearing-in Grant, that it’s a scam, designed to swindle unsuspecting Nigerians.
“Our attention has been drawn to a fraudulent announcement purporting that Governor Ademola Adeleke has launched a N10,000 swearing – in grant for Nigerians. This is a scam designed to swindle unsuspecting Nigerians” he said.
He assured that the prosecutors behind the fraudulent scheme will be brought to justice.
“Members of the public are hereby alerted to ignore the announcement as Governor Adeleke is not running any grant scheme. Financial fraud authorities have been alerted to track, arrest and prosecute those behind the fraudulent scheme” Gov. Adeleke concluded.
