Osun Poly: Odetayo Returns As Acting Rector After Gov Adeleke’s Executive Order

The Management of Osun State Polytechnic Iree has complied with the Governor Ademola Adeleke’s directive on the Executive Order, just as it reversed the Rector of the Institution, Dr Tajudeen Odetayo to Acting Rector.

A release by Registrar of the Institution, Busari Salawu stated that ” further to the directive Of His Excellency , Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke dated 28th November, 2022 and the letter reference number TE/340.VON.II/7 dated 2nd December, 2022 ,stated that the position of Dr. T.A Odetayo and that of Engr J. A Abiola have been reverted to status co as at 17 July, 2022 as Acting Rector and Chief Engineer respectively, pending further directives from the government”

The Registrar reiterated that the compliance was necessary as it was directed by the Governor.

It would be recalled that Governor Adeleke had stated in his Executive Order that all appointments made after July 17, 2022 should reversed, this was hitherto carried out by Management of the Institution. CONTINUE READING…
