India fans build Neymar Cut out to better Messi own as World cup draw closer

The rivalry between Brazil and Argentina supporters is heating up in India ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, after a set of fans from both nations erected cuts of Lionel Messi and Neymar.

Argentina supporters in India had erected a 30ft cardboard cutout of Messi in the Kurungattu Kadavu River ahead of Qatar 2022, which has now prompted a response from their Brazilian counterparts.

According to The Sun, Brazilian supporters have now also erected a 40ft cardboard cutout of Messi’s PSG teammate and Brazil captain Neymar in the same river in India.

Both Neymar and Messi will put friendship aside for the duration of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, as they try to win their first World Cup trophy.
