Just In: Osun bizwoman tackles monarch over alleged assassination claim

A businesswoman based in Osun State, Falilat Arike, on Saturday denied sending assassins after Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdulrosheed Olabomi.

 

Arike also accused the royal father of envy and promised to reveal details of why Oba Olabomi kept attacking her.

 

Oba Olabomi, in a video obtained on Friday, accused Arike, one of his subjects of hunting him with suspected assassins.

 

The royal father, who said he had petitioned the police and Department of State Security, and called on the state governor, Adegboyega Oyetola to act and save lives of those allegedly marked from being killed.

 

The royal father in the video further said, “A woman named Falilat Arike in Iragbiji, I learnt and reliably know that she has imported killer squad into the community to hunt me and kill me, Oba Abdulraheed Olabomi, Aragbiji of Iragbiji.

 

“The squad is also haunting the Baale of Olohunda Iragbiji, Jimoh Ojeran and my natives named Abdulrasheed Adeleke, Wasiu Babalola. She has placed bounty for our execution.

 

“I have petitioned the Police and DSS but I must come out to plead with the appropriate authority to prevent the planned extermination by this woman.

 

“I call on Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, CP, Faleye Olaleye, DSS, IGP please save us from the killer squad of this woman.”

 

But reacting to the allegation in another video obtained by The PUNCH, Arike, who spoke in Yoruba language, claimed to be in Medinah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on a pilgrimage and explained that she had no disagreement with the monarch

 

She also threatened to expose details of why Aragbiji was after her.

 

She said, “I am Ero Arike. I have been here in Medinah for the last 4 days on pilgrimage. Earlier this morning, I heard that my father, Oba Abdulrosheed Olabomi, said I wanted to kill. I am not vying for either his throne or wanted him to give me chieftaincy title.

 

“There was no serious disagreement between myself and him. I said if I had anything evil against him, may God reject my prayers. While coming on this pilgrimage, I came with 6 clerics. All I am known for on social media is philanthropy.

 

“The main reason why Oba Olabomi has been attacking me, I will reveal it when I get to Kabbah. I will expose the reason behind the attack.” CONTINUE READING……………………………
