Nigerian man seeks to refund N699k mistakenly sent to his account

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to reveal that someone erroneously paid N698,000 into his bank account and he does not know the person.

The guy known as Luke said he relocated to the UK and while there, he got an alert of N698,000 which appeared in his account and totaled to N699k.

He indicated an interest in returning the money to the sender through the bank he operates the account with.

Luke asked anybody that knows a reliable staff of the bank to reach out to him so they can work out the modalities for him to refund the N698,000.

He shared a screenshot of the alert and noted that he does not see the money as a new month’s blessing for him.

“TWITTER, PLEASE RETWEET UNTIL IT GETS TO THE OWNER! Someone mistakenly credited this to my Nigeria account which has been abandoned since I traveled out of the country…

Please, if you have any reliable person in Union Bank, kindly contact me. This is not a new month’s blessing for me. This one is too small to block my blessings…” he wrote.
