PHOTOS: AIG Olokode bid farewell as Osun Security Operatives celebrate his promotion

The Osun State Security Operatives band have celebrated AIG Olokode Taoheed Olawale’s promotion from former Osun State CP to AIG, Voice air media reports.

On Wednesday, October 26, 2022, the celebration was held in the Adolak event facility in Ogo-Oluwa, Osogbo, Osun state.

The member of the Osun Police force, Vigilantes, PCRC, members of the community, journalists, Oba’s and armies all grace the occasion to celebrate with the new AIG.

Expressing his gratitude towards the organizers of the ceremony, AIG Olokode Olawale willfully thanks the PCRC, members of the community, and the Police for celebrating his promotion.

The guests were entertained by the police band and singers, making the event pleasant.

AIG Olokode highlights his contributions to the security of the Osun people, noting that when he arrived in Osun state in the last month of 2020, kidnapping, cultism, the conflict between the Hausa and indigenous Yoruba people, armed robbery, and ritual killings were common, but that now thanks to the security architectural design and strategies they implemented, those have decreased and peace has been restored.

In his final notes, the new AIG offers some guidance to his successor.

His words;

“I will advise my successor to relate well with the member of the community and he should serve them well so that he can be celebrated.
