There are indications that the scarcity of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly known as petrol has returned after Long queues of vehicles have resurfaced at fuel stations in Akure, the Ondo State capital, as motorists embarked on panic buying.
According to report, some fuel stations are now selling petrol between N190 and N270 naira per litre.
This was revealed by a reporter who monitored the petrol supply situation in Akure on Monday, when motorists formed long queues at different filling stations.
The situation has degenerated, as most independent marketers do not have the product.
It was gathered that this filling station along Oda-road, Akure, is one of the few stations dispensing the product to buyers as at press time. CONTINUE READING…
