Alhaja Samiratu Abidemi Oriolowo, the mother of the Senator representing Osun West, Adelere Oriolowo has died.
According to report, Alhaja Oriolowo died in the early hours of Wednesday, October 26, in Iwo.
This was revealed in a statement by Niyi Husamotu, spokesperson of the Senator.
Husamotu said, “The Matriarch of Oriolowo’s family and the mother of Senator (Engr.) Adelere Adeyemi Oriolowo has breathed her last during the early hours of today.
“Till she breath her last, Alhaja Samiratu Abidemi Oriolowo was the “Iya Suna of Iwoland”
“She will be buried according to Islamic rites today 26th October 2022 by 4pm.”
