Independence Day: Adefisoye Assures Constituents of Continued Development

On October 1, Nigeria celebrates its anniversary — marking 62 years since the country became an independent nation with the end of colonial rule as Member representing Idanre/Ifedore federal constituency of Ondo State, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye has assured his constituents of a better time as he continues with his legislative duties at the National Assembly.

The youngest House of Representatives member from the southern region gave this assurance on Saturday in his Independence day message to the good people of Idanre/Ifedore federal constituency.

Small Alhaji as he is popularly known declared in the message that God has already taken him to a point of consolidating his achievements and influence at the Nation Assembly. He was however quick to add that the feat of consolidation was for the overall good, development and benefits of his constituents.

“I warmly wish all my dear constituents happy independence day celebration today. Although I am not being unmindful of the nations challenges, but today still represents an opportunity for us to celebrate the togetherness of our country as well as the peace that we enjoy in our constituency.

“I also want to use this opportunity appeal to all political gladiators in our constituency to please embrace issue based campaign. We must by all means eschew violence and petty politicking as we go into the months of intense political campaigns”.

The Deputy Chairman House Committee on Army further stated in the independence message that his constituency stands to benefit a lot more from his quality representation if he is returned as a ranking member of the House of Representatives.

“We must note that benefits of representation can only begin to manifest fully when a representative becomes a ranking member. I can assure that a whole lot more developmental projects and life transforming opportunities will definitely be attracted to my constituency for the benefit of our people as a ranking member”.

Adefisoye added that he was very proud of his verifiable and trailblazing achievements in the last three years. He however urged the people of Idanre and Ifedore not to gamble with their choice of representation in 2023.

“I am very proud of my achievements in the last three years. These verifiable achievements are out there campaign for me. In just three years, we have done what all my predecessors could not do in all their years put together. Also to the glory of God, no electoral campaign promise has been left unfulfilled.

He however urged his people to look deeply into the achievements records and legislative impacts made by the gladiators for the House of Representatives position in Idanre/Ifedore federal constituency.

“For a fact, impactful national politics requires ability to learn the ropes in a record time, great deal of intelligence and brilliance and the charismatic character to be in the right camp of those that make things happen. For these reasons and more, we cannot afford to leave a proven certainty for an ineffectual uncertainty and regretably end up to waste four whopping years”, the statement reads.
