A building has collapsed in the Beirut road area of the Kano State metropolis.
Some persons were feared trapped underneath the rubble of the uncompleted building.
Many were seen at the scene trying to carry out a rescue operation.
Emergency responders have also been drafted to the scene.
It was gathered that some persons numbering up to six have been rescued while others were still trapped.
Newsmen also reported that on Friday and five persons were rescued after a two-storey building collapsed in Kubwa Satellite town in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, with two persons recorded dead.
