MARKET: Naira gains after remaining constant for 2 days

The Nigerian currency, Naira on Friday appreciated against the dollar at the Investors and Exporters window, after remaining constant in value for two days.

 

Naira exchanged at N429.05, representing an increase of 0.08 per cent, compared with the N429.38 it exchanged for the dollar on Thursday.

 

 

On Friday, the open indicative rate closed at N428 to a Dollar.

 

An exchange rate of N444 to the dollar was the highest rate recorded within the day’s trading before it settled at N429.05.

 

Naira sold for as low as 416.06 to the dollar within the day’s trading.
