Bankole Akinselure Bagged ‘Face Of The Youth’ award

THE former Chairmanship candidate in Idanre Local government area of Ondo state, Honorable Bankole Akinselure Olaleye, has been honoured with a title: ‘As the FACE OF THE YOUTH of NYCN Ondo state’ by the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN).

According to NYCN, the award was presented in recognition of his immense contribution to the youth constituency and other development in Ondo state.

Speaking during the presentation ceremony held today, Thursday at Ondo state, under the leadership of Comrade Shittu Bukari Kayode of the statutory Apex body of all youth in Ondo state. The management and it’s local government chapters said: ”The award is to commend you on this success and we look forward to seeing more great things from you sir. Congratulations”.

He said that the awardee has supported many youths with various levels of sponsorship irrespective of their city of origin, adding that he was a detribalized person.

”His detribalized nature and unwavering support to the cause of youth empowerment and educational advancement endeared him to the Council,” he said.

In his remark, the Idanre born, Hon. Bankole Akinselure, lauded the leadership of NYCN for the recognition.

“Thanks to the entire Ondo state youths and the National Youth Council of Nigeria Ondo state chapter for decorating me today as the face of the youth of Ondo state”

He urged the youths to uphold good ideas, discipline, humility, focus, selflessness, moral uprightness, godliness, patriotism and hard work which he described as the hallmark of a good Leader.

“It is a call to service , I’m honored and i promise to be more diligent, committed to the nation building and the business of our dear state,” Bankole said.
