The Gray Man (2022): Movie Review
Plot: When the CIA’s most skilled mercenary known as Court Gentry, aka Sierra Six, accidentally uncovers dark agency secrets, he becomes a primary target and is hunted around the world by psychopathic former colleague Lloyd Hansen and international assassins.
Review: The Gray Man centers on Sierra Six, a CIA Black Ops agent, who is given some encrypted material while working on a task that contains information about his superiors, putting Six and people close to him in peril.
As Six struggles to keep one step ahead of Hansen, who is free to use any means necessary to take Six out regardless of the consequences, a race to discover the truth unfolds at a dizzying pace.
The action is nonstop, as one might anticipate from the Russos, and there are some fun set pieces, especially during a lengthy action sequence in Prague that features a bus brawl, a car pursuit, and a shootout.
The plot itself may not be the most creative, but with a cast this impressive, it is difficult to take your eyes off the screen, and it is obvious that the performers are all having a blast giving each other the seven bells.
Fans of the genre are sure to enjoy its riffs on classic tropes and sense of fun
