Osun: Students’ Group Chair, Saheed Afolabi, Congratulates Adeleke, Adewusi

The governor-elect of Osun State, under the peoples democratic party, PDP, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has received a congratulatory message from the Chairman of the Students’ Mobilization Committee of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Comrade Saheed Afolabi, popularly known as Seedorf.

Adeleke, who emerged winner in the July 16 gubernatorial election in the state.

Afolabi, in a statement made available to Voice Air Media, on Tuesday, said the “students’ mobilization committee of the party is filled with excitement over your victory and therefore rejoices with the good people of the state, as a new dawn, a new era has come stay.

“The committee under the able and loyal chairmanship of Comrade Saheed Afolabi (Seedorf) equally congratulates Prince Kola Adewusi, on his victory as Deputy Governor-Elect.

“I believe in the capacity, zeal, motive and leadership charisma of the newly elected and well accepted Governor elect.

“The people of the state are joyous and cannot wait for the official inauguration of Senator Adeleke as they believe that the Governor elect will fulfill his campaign promises and manifestos.

“I shall continue to uphold the will of the people, by supporting and solidarizing with the new Governor of the people.

“I implore all and sundry to continue to support the Governor elect, and not to allow agents of division and backwardness to confuse them.

“I believed and shall continue to solidarize with our amiable Governor, forward ever and backwards never. Osun will move forward,” he stated.
