Osun 2022: Good Governance Will Not Cease, If I Am Reelected – Says Gov Oyetola

Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola was on Thursday welcomed by the Ogiyan Of Ejigbo Kingdom and the entire people of the land at Ogiyan palace square in Ejigbo area of the state.

In Voiceairmedia’s report, Oyetola, while addressing members of the rulling All Progressives Congress (APC), during a governorship campaign rally held in the town, assured that if reelected, good governance would continue in the state.

According to Mr. Governor, “Because your performance in the last election was so gradated, being here with you today is my joy, those who have spoken, reeled out our achievements had said well, Our second term ambition was borne out because four years is too short, considering months spent to validate our mandate in court and the outbreak of the pandemic, be rest assured of good governance in the next four years beyond current appraisal, he noted”

He urged APC members and residents of the town to assiduously work for his re-election to enable him embark on his avowed promises.

He said, “I am not nerve-rack about others in the race with me. I put my trust in God and the people of the state who would not want to defeat the hope of ongoing good work in the state.

“The forthcoming election is between us and the other parties, we’re planning a victory with wide margin free of tribunal against last poll that exhausted about eight months of our progress.

He encouraged that, “Those who have not collected their permanent voter cards should quickly do so. “When you pick it, don’t sell it to those that are luring people with money, Protect your rights to vote by keeping your voter card intact.”

In attendance of the leaders are the three Council Chairmen and their cabinet members, Hon. Ayegbayo Gbolahan, Alh Bashir Akintegbe and Olayanju Africa Kolapo, Hon Aleem Bakare, Hon Falade Ajibade Michael, Rt Hon Prof Aare Mojeed Alabi, the Party Chairman, Hon Adegoke Lateef and others.

The governor had earlier paid a courtesy visit to the Ogiyan of Ejigbo, Oba Omowonuola Oyesoyin as his palace.
