Breaking: Ex-gov. Fayose’s son, others win PDP tickets in Ekiti

Oluwajomiloju “Joju” Fayose, the son of the former governor of Ekiti state, Ayo Fayose, on Sunday won the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ticket for the House of Representatives.

 

He won against Deji Adeosun to represent the Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1 at the Green House.

 

Lere Olayinka, the ex-governor’s media aide also emerged as the PDP candidate for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency two.

 

While Joju Fayose scored 69 votes to defeat Deji Adeosun, who polled 9 votes; Olayinka garnered 54 votes to beat his opponent, Victor, who scored 45 votes.

Also, a former governorship aspirant, Yinka Akerele, won the party ticket for Ekiti North Federal Constituency one, unopposed.

 

For Ekiti North Federal Constituency two, Babatunde Ajayi polled 63 votes to clinch the ticket, defeating Funmi Ogun, who had 33 votes.
