JUST IN: Four Shuts Down In Benue Community

At least four people have been killed in an attack on Ayilamo town in Logo Local Government Area of Benue State.

 

DailyTrust reports that the incident happened on Tuesday night while they were asleep.

 

They said gunmen stormed the community, broke into homes and shot four of them to death and left others injured.

 

A community leader who pleaded anonymity gave the names of the victims as Vaachia Hangeior, Abako Kpeibee, Mtomga Akpi and David Akave.

 

The police spokesperson in the state, SP Catherine Anene, had not responded to calls and messages sent to her as of press time.
