I’ll create a working Economy, gives Osun Women 9 billion naira as business capital — says 2022 LP candidate, Lasun Yusuff

THE candidate of the Labour party in the forthcoming July 16 gubernatorial elections in Osun state, Lasun Yusuff has Vowed to create a working economy for the state.., if elected as governor

This is as the Former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives promised to transform the state to an economy with many Development, revealing his love for entrepreneurship for his state

“Between six months of my tenure as governor, I will give 9 billion Naira to Women to start business in the state.”

Yusuff who stated this in April’s edition of “The Frontiers”, a special personality engagement Programme organized by the association of veteran Journalists, Osun state chapter, in Osogbo on Wednesday disclosed that he has what it takes to create an economy for the state

According to him, “I will create an economy that the people and generation live on.

“I have what it takes to create an economy for the state and since I want to be governor, I will create and transform Osun economy in a timeline of four years.

“No economy is developed by foreigners but it takes locals to develop the economy of an area.”

The Labour party candidate also revealed that to drive an economy, there is a need for development in the education, health and agriculture sector and exploitation of the mineral resources.

While promising a turnaround in the state, “I want to become a governor as I will bring real governorship close to the people”, Lasun said.
