Just In: Bandits kill 1, abduct 7 in FCT communities

Suspected bandits have killed one person and abducted seven others after attacking Kilankwa II and Koda communities in Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.

 

 

 

According to Daily Trust, a resident of Kilankwa II, Solomon Agye, said the incident happened last Friday around 11pm when the bandits invaded the two villages and whisked away seven people.

 

 

 

He said the bandits attacked Koda, killed one person and abducted four villagers before moving to Kilankwa II and abducting three more persons.

Agye further said, “From information received, the bandits were on the run as vigilantes from Kwali were after them after a gun battle in which two vigilantes were killed.”

 

 

 

The FCT police spokesperson, DSP Adeh Josephine, could not be reached to comment on the incident as at the time of filling this report.
