Breaking: APC Chairman Murdered In Osun

The Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Atakumosa East Central local government of the State of Osun, Chief Gbenga Ogbara, has been murdered.

VAM News gathered that Chief Gbenga was shot dead inside his sitting room in Igangan, his hometown, around 12am today.

It was learnt that Ogbara’s corpse has been deposited at Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa.

Police react

The Police Public Relations Officer, Osun Command, Mrs Yemisi Opalola, has confirmed the incident.

According to Opalola, “The APC Chairman was killed around 12am by some gunmen.

“Policemen have since been deployed to the area. Investigation is ongoing on the matter. The criminals will not escape justice.”
