Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, on Saturday said the resumption of investigation into the murder of a former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Chief Bola Ige, was already hamstrung and disrobed of credibility with the emergence of a prime suspect in the case as the National Secretary of the ruling All Progressive Congress.
It is outrightly sad and very pathetic to come to the realization that Yorubas would always find a way to drag their fellow sons and daughters down.
The Appointment of Iyiola Omisore as the National Secretary of the APC has been greeted with various kind of nefarious claims by certain individuals who are rather pained with this appointment and would go extents to malingn the good personality of Omisore.
The various claims which links him to the death of Bola Ige are nothing but bitter moves to drag soil the good name of Omisore.
There’s nothing that ties him to this unfortunate incident, no Court of Justice in Nigeria has found him linked to the case and it’s outrightly condemnable to see certain element link him to this incident.
This is not the time that we should be sponsoring campaign of bitterness against him, this is when we should rally around him, giving him the much needed support as he represents us all in his new designation. CONTINUE READING…
