EFCC Seals Willie Obiano’s Mansions

Some property belonging to the immediate past Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, have been sealed by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The anti-graft agency on Thursday sealed mansions allegedly traced to Obiano at Ngozika Estate in Awka.

According to SAHARAREPORTERS, EFCC placed a notice, which reads, “EFCC, Keep Off; Under Investigation” on the wall of an abandoned building traceable to Obiano, a development that followed his release after six days in the commission’s custody.

VAM News recalls that Obiano was released on an administrative bail by EFCC after six days in detention.

This publication had reported that EFCC arrested Obiano last Thursday at about 8:30pm at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, while on his way to the United States of America, hours after he left office and handed over to the new Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo. CONTINUE READING….
