Biodun Oyebanji Will Win Ekiti Guber Poll For APC — Olajide

Expresses confidence in BAO’s candidacy.

As the race of who succeeds Governor Kayode Fayemi garners momentum, a former Ekiti House of Assembly aspirant under the ruling All Progressive Congress(APC) in the 2019 general election, Olajide Omotayo Harmony has predicted a landslide victory for the APC flag bearer ahead of the June 18 gubernatorial poll.

Olajide described BAO as a man of the people and a symbol of consensus.

He asserts that Oyebanji, whose emergence in the January primary election came not as a surprise to him, said, his victory is a further testament to BAO’s ideals of unity, consensus, and progressivism.

Olajide affirmed that BAO is a master tactician and political strategist who understands the theory and pedagogic of politics.

The former EKHA aspirant said, ”Shortly after the primary election, BAO realized the need to unite everyone who contested for the ticket with him. His avidity towards understanding the mood of any arbitrary elections compelled him to reach out to those who he described as his friends, for a united front. That is the first principle of post-election management.”, Olajide stressed.

One must therefore not be taken aback to see how BAO has been able to sustain the pre and post-primary atmosphere resulting in massive support and endorsement by party faithfuls and well-wishers. While he expressed confidence that more endorsement will spring up, Olajide vowed to mobilize his supporters across the length and breadth of Ekiti State towards ensuring a total victory for BAO.

“Therefore one must critically access BAO so as to deep dive into the rationale behind his general acceptability”, Olajide added. According to him, “Oyebanji is a thoroughbred Ekiti son who has spent most of his life in Ekiti state-building bridges, capacities and empowering people.

“He is very familiar with the workings of the state having served meritoriously under two governors. His vastness and robust understanding of Ekiti might be the cogent reason why party faithfuls are solidly with him.”, Olajide posited.

While calling for more support, the former aspirant said, it is high time for party faithfuls to religiously mobilize and recruit Ekiti indigenes and residents for the Oyebanji/APC project stressing that BAO is on the right side of history.

Stating further, BAO will benefit immensely from Fayemi’s giant strides across critical sectors. This would therefore translate into the continuity of good and beautiful dawn for Ekiti people.

Olajide assured Ekiti people of a people’s oriented government, adding that, BAO will never deviate from the transformational agendas of Fayemi that are focused on building capacities among people.

He urged Ekiti youths to see Oyebanji as a rallying point for them, noting that, he remains confident that BAO’s administration when elected will prioritize the interest of youths through capacity building and right empowerments. CONTINUE READING…
