UPDATE: Fire Razes Popular Building In Osogbo

A fire outbreak has razed a building opposite DSS, beside the Mosque at Ogo-Oluwa Osogbo, Osun State.

According to sources, the fire find its way to the nearby two storey building beside the Central Mosque opposite the DSS, Ogo-Oluwa, Osogbo, Osun State from the bush burnt by three men contracted to clear the bush, unknown to them that the fire has ignited some materials in the house that caused the pandemonium.

But for quick intervention of the Fire Servicemen, the fire would have extended to the Mosque and the Car Plaza beside it.

The Fire Servicemen prevented the fire from extending to the Ground and First Floor but all the properties in the last floor including Computers accessories just imported two weeks ago got burnt to aches.

One out of the three men whose negligence caused the fire outbreak was arrested by the DSS officers Opposite the house gutted by the fire.

The suspect is still in the custody of the DSS as at the time of filing this report.
