The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, AEDC, on Thursday, apologised to FCT residents over the interruption of electricity supply in parts of the capital city.
An observant correspondent disclosed that some areas of Abuja such as Wuye, Utako, Kubwa, Karu and other suburbs have been experiencing poor power supply and low voltage.
AEDC in a statement on its official Twitter page said the issue was as a result of instability of supply from the National Grid due to low power generation.
It, therefore, appealed to residents to be patient as stakeholders are working hard to restore system stability.
”Dear Customer, kindly be informed that the interruption of electricity supply you are currently experiencing is due to the instability of supply from the National Grid due to low power generation.
”We appeal to you to be patient as all stakeholders are working hard to restore system stability.”
