OSCOTECH Alumni: President Owoeye Jumoke Meets Chairman Governing Council In Osogbo, Inaugurates New Chapter

The National President of Alumni Association, Osun State College Of Technology, Esa-Oke, had on Saturday, 12 February, 2022. paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Chairman, Governing Council, Rt Hon. Akintunde Adegboye, in his office at Osun state capital, Osogbo.

Esv. Owoeye Jumoke, who was accompanied by the Executive members, Addressing the pressmen during inauguration of the Oscotech Alumni, Osogbo chapter, disclosed that, “We’re moving in tandem with constitutional mandate to unify the product of our Alma mater and initiate substantial development which should be a reasonable motive for any alumnus who have the love of his citadel of learning at heart, there’s no where we can go, we will always be identify with the background and you can all see picture.”

Owoeye, who graduated from the department of Estate Management, remarked that, the product of the college have succeeded in having the larger percentage of registered associates in her field of study, she posited that the experience garnered by many students from the institution has enabled them to meet up with the global standard.

The former Student Union Leader, Comrade Democrat, in a conversation with the newly appointed Chairman governing council, quoted by this medium, “We’re not enemies of our college, but passionately to make it greater, we are ready to move on without collecting a dime from anyone, we want the people in charge to alot physical land for us to do whatever we think that is mature for development, and have the backup of the town planning authority.”

“How can you describe your emergence?

I’m just consulting like politician would say, they know the job, they consult, “we’ve being to the school, we know the problems, part of the problems is when we have two Associations, we see the ventures there, we see that we’ve alot to do.

“How do you describe development that has taken place on the campus so far?

We’re just reviewing, some projects have been put down by the TETFUND, It’s when we see how much they’ve spended, like for instance, We’ve more IGR lecturers than the actual lecturers, we’ve done the facility tour and see what’s on ground.

“As a father and board of Governing Council, what’s your advice for the two factions ‘Alumni Association’s?

I’ve listened to the two, I can see seriousness and vice versa, let’s see how they can bring them together and work for the development of their School. I can see the love of that school in them, he concluded.
