Loaded Passenger Bus Plunges Into Canal In Lagos

A bus loaded with passengers has plunged into a canal at the Oworonshoki area of Lagos State.

According to report, some of the passengers were injured in the incident that happened on Monday.

It was also gathered that the bus lost control before plunging into the canal with a yet-to-be-ascertained number of passengers.

According to PUNCH, efforts are on to rescue the trapped passengers.

Details of the incident were sketchy as of the time of filing this report.

VAM News had earlier reported how a woman and her two daughters were confirmed dead in an accident involving a Howo truck and a Ford jeep at old MRS filling station, Itako, Ijebu Ife, on the Sagamu-Benin expressway on Sunday.

The remains of the deceased were deposited at the morgue of Gosheng Hospital, Ijebu Ife, by operatives of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
