Bus Conveying 18 NYSC Corps Members Catches Fire

Not fewer than 18 National Youth Service Corps members in Delta State narrowly escaped death when a commercial bus carrying them from the orientation camp at Issele-Uku in the state’s Aniocha North Local Government Area to Wado City caught fire.

The bus suddenly burst into flames along the way, according to sources, but no one was killed.

Some corps members’ valuables, including luggage and phones, were burnt on the bus, according to reports.

VAM News leaned that the incident occurred on Tuesday, December 15, 2021.

“We thank God no life was lost,” said Mr. Chidi Nnorom, the state NYSC Public Relations Officer said.
