“Osun State was rated as the most peaceful State in all the 36 states in Nigeria including FCT, Abuja.

“Where there is peace there must be development in every area of governance in the state. Since Oyetola became the Governor of the State in 2018 he has been able to raise the bar of developments from where his predecessor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola left it.

To whom much is given much is expected, the award is designed to spur him to forge ahead in his developmental strides in Osun State.

We equally honoured 24 other distinguished sons and daughters of Osun State with Awards in recognition of their tireless efforts to bring Osun State into the front burner side by side with other developed states in Nigeria.”
