The ancient town of Ede, a local government area in Osun State was agog on Saturday, November 6th, as top dignitaries stormed the city to witness the marriage ceremony of the foster son of Timi of Edeland, Oba Munirudeen Adesola Lawal Laminisa 1.

Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola ably represented by Prince Wole Oyebamiji, the PDP candidate in the last gubernatorial election in Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, the Commissioner for Human resources, Lateefat Giwa and other political bigwigs, politicians, captain of Industries, academics, attended the marriage ceremony at Federal Polytechnic, Ede on Saturday.
The solemnization ceremony also attracted Traditional rulers in the state levels including; HRM Olowu of Kuta, Oba Adekunle Makama; The Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Oyetunji; Oba Kazeem Adio, Oba Sulaiman Adesina, Oba Dr Afeez Olorunwa, Oba Isola Olatunji, Alase of Ilase among others.
At the event, the chairman of the occasion admonished the groom to take good care of his wife, not taking advantage of his background as being a Prince, also charged the members of the family to stay away from the couple.
“They said a good home goes beyond being just a dwelling place for the family, as it should also offer comfort, support, love and happiness
“A good home is supposed to be a happy, healthy and holy place. It is a place meant to foster a pleasant atmosphere of good fellowship among parents and their children. The atmosphere of a good home is always positive and healthy for everyone in it to live happily,” he said.
The event, which was spiced up by popular Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, featured cutting of the wedding cake and dancing at the memorable occasion.
