Anambra: Security Agencies should partner the youths for better intelligence gathering

There seem to be a strong coalition of community based youth bodies in Anambra state against all plans to turn Anambra state into a war state in course of the Anambra Governorship Election.

It was gathered from a reliable source that Anambra state council of Youths have stepped up their game against any group or persons that maybe sponsored to cause unrest in the state.

The source revealed that things will get out of hand if security agencies fail to collaborate with organized youth formations for a better intelligence gathering during the election period.

“We are aware that some actors are mobilizing funny people from neighbouring states into Anambra state to cause trouble but after our strategic convergence for sensitization and thoughts by next week, we will declare those troublesome elements persona- non- grata. We will deal with them ourselves before handing them over to security agents if they fail to adhere to our forthcoming resolution/call”, the source revealed.
