Lagos Man Caught Inserting Finger Into 4-Year-Old Private Part

A 32-year old man, Okwudili Okoro, has been arraigned before an Ogba Magistrates Court after he was allegedly caught sexually molesting a 4-year old girl by inserting his finger into her private part in Lagos State.

It was gathered that the incident happened at Akeja area of Alagbado, Lagos.

Okwudili, was said to have lured the little girl, removed her pant and inserted his finger into her private part. While he was still in the act, he was reportedly caught and handed over to the Police for interrogation.

The matter was eventually transferred to the Gender Section of the Command for investigation. At the Gender Section, after interrogation and having been found culpable, he was then charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.

The Court did not take his plea after the prosecutor, Supol Raji Akeem, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. E. Kubeinje, denied him bail and ordered his remand in Correctional Centre while directing the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP.

The matter was adjourned till 5th November, 2021, for the report of DPP’s advice to be ready, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
