Breaking: Gunshots As Violence Breaks Out At APC ‘TOP’ Congress In Osun

Heavy gunshots were fired on Saturday at the Popular Ladso pure water, Ogo Oluwa area, Osogbo, the Osun state capital.

VAM News learnt that the loyalists of former Governor of Osun state and current Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, had gathered for the state Congress of the All Progressive Congress (APC) at the venue.

When, some armed political thugs had invaded the venue of the congress, shooting sporadically to scare away the party members.

It was gathered that Members within the Party bigwigs battle to get structure ahead of 2022 Governorship ticket
Despite being the ruling party.

Members of the Osun Progressive TOP caucus believe to be the loyalists of the former Governor, Aregbesola.
