Breaking: Jigawa Declares Friday Public Holiday To Mark 30th Creation Anniversary

The Jigawa State Government has declared Friday, the 27th of August, 2021, as holiday.

The declearation is meant to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the creation of the State.

In a statement, signed by the State Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila, said that Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar congratulated the Civil Servants and the entire people for the thirty-year anniversary of the State, enjoying the people to pray for the State and the country at large while celebrating the day.

Jigawa Governor also appealed to all Pubic Servants and the entire people of the State to utilize the one day break in thanking the Almighty Allah for conducive atmosphere, peaceful co-existence and various developmental projects so far recorded in the State.

It could be recalled that Jigawa, Edo, Osun among other states were created 30 years ago during the administration of Retired General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida as ministry head of state.
